DJ GoodKnight (Alex Knight, formally known as DJ Dad-Bod) is originally from the frozen shores of Duluth and based in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota and has entertained all over the world.
The talented performer has an impressive resume in entertainment, with over a decade of expertise in thousands of events as a DJ/MC. Some of his experience includes:
800+ weddings DJ'd independently, internationally and also previously contracted with a larger wedding entertainment company in Minnesota since 2010.
Resident DJ with Royal Caribbean's luxury Azamara cruise ships and Princess Cruises in 2015-2017, entertaining for diverse crowds every night and traveling to over 60 countries!
Spent 2017/2018 entertaining at premier venues down under in Melbourne, Australia. Aussies know how to party!
Event DJ with the Minnesota Vikings organization starting in 2021, DJing the OFFICIAL pregame parties at The LongHouse and Pepsi Stage outside of US Bank Stadium and numerous events put on by the team. SKOL!
Passionate about giving back to the community and offers discounted DJ services to a variety of causes and charities if available. Please inquire if you are in need.
When he's not DJing, Mr. GoodKnight is usually spending time with his family, having visited over 100 Minnesota lakes with his daughter! He also enjoys traveling, attending concerts and comedy shows with friends, supporting local small businesses, mixing up 90s hip-hop at home with his cats Tito & Stoli and making sure everyone around him is having a good time!

INCLUSIVE DJ GOODKNIGHT WEDDING PACKAGE:
Covering everything you need for ceremony and reception services! From setting up at least 2 hours before your guests arrive until however long as your venue permits. Allow 1 hour after last song to pack up.
Customizable wedding planning document to personalize with all of your special details with your "must-play" and "do-not-play" music choices from your ceremony music to last song and everything in between. Yes, I play guest requests (but only if they compliment your style and overall vibe of the crowd!)
Set up 2 hours early before ceremony for sound check
Wireless handheld microphones for officiant, vows, readers and speeches (on a mic stand if preferred.)
Ability to amplify guitarist, pianist and vocalists if needed
High quality battery powered sound system for ceremonies without electricity
Additional speaker for cocktail hour music if outside reception space
Confident MC to host and do key announcements, get crowd pumped up at the right moments, with on-site coordination when needed. Never cringey.
Modern Evolve 50 speakers with crisp sound and built-in subs
Aesthetically pleasing DJ booth to match venue's look
Photo friendly dance floor lighting with a clean look - Disco ball stand if requested. (You should request it, it's cool.)
Pair of 2x2' mini light up stages for you to jump on and hype up your crowd!
Creative club style DJ actually mixing tracks with smooth transitions. Yes, it's me spinning the music and hosting your event. Sometimes I bring an assistant if requested or needed because after years of hauling in heavy DJ gear, my back hurts!
In-person or virtual consultations and one of the most experienced wedding entertainers in the country!
Inclusive wedding package - $3000
$500 deposit with signed contract to commit to date.
Monday-Thursday or Winter wedding discounts available.
Business insured by Canopy.
Back up on-call DJ with equipment for emergencies.
